Rebecca Stacey-Gomez
Integrative Systemic Supportive Touch Coach-ISST Certified
I am ᎠᏂᏴᏫᏯ Ani’-Yun’ wiya *pronounced ah-nee yoon-wee-yah (known today as Cherokee *enrolled citizen) and Celt with an extensive, traced lineage of healers, on both sides, so it seems this was a destined path.
I have gained experiential training alongside MD/DO, Naturopaths (NO), LMFT/LPC/LCSW, LMT, Physical Therapist/Craniosacral in New Mexico, Colorado and Texas.
I choose NOT to attach labels to my healing work as it draws, not only on native ideology, but scientific understandings based in balance emanating from connection and support of the whole person. I also choose NOT to separate the emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of our humanness. You will find these principals in indigenous traditions and modern somatic-based healing practices.
I have always had a connection toward the philosophies and practices surrounding tradition, science, psychology, biology, metaphysics, spirituality and history. If one was to combine my diverse pedigree, unique abilities and individual approach to healing, it is no wonder my perspective has been referred to by many names over the years.
