Trauma has deep effects in the body - we are physical and structural, energetic, spiritual and emotional - and trauma impacts all these layers in myriad and complex ways that are unique to each individual. Rebecca has a gift to be able to read the energetic layers and see its effects in the body and help support ways for the trauma to leave in sometimes subtle and other times dramatic ways. Rebecca has amazing gifts and is welcome in my office anytime. She will be a benefit to all she works with and I highly recommend her and know that her talents will grow with experience.

Rebecca is a true healer that goes beyond solely using intuition in her sessions. After having the opportunity to personally hear her story, it is clear she embraces poly ideologies, including honoring the philosophies of the healers in her lineage. Her skills and passion provide evidence of that strong lineage. I appreciate that Rebecca brings humility to her work, along with her knowledge. Additionally, she has done the kind of in depth work with herself that supports the transformation of others.

I have had high blood pressure for 20+ years ranging between 168/99 to 199/102, just to give an idea of the numbers. I have tried nearly everything to find a solution including acupuncture and meditation that were nice but not helpful, at least for me, for what I needed! Different prescribed medications have not been able to significantly lower or regulate for any extended period of time, if at all.  I am active, have healthy eating habits/food and try to keep stress at bay. After my second body session with Rebecca, for the first time in 20 years, I have had CONSISTENT regular blood pressure readings at 124/74 or lower. In disbelief, I checked multiple times at first! Just amazing!

It is the ultimate blessing when a student comes along that surpasses the teacher. Rebecca has taken the traditional gifts she embodies and has been able to integrate them with the science of the brain and body, all for the healing benefit of the clients. I have synthesized nearly 4 decades of work with people carrying trauma and am delighted that she has absorbed that knowledge. The overall result has been her amplified abilities have helped people get “underneath the words”, progress forward beyond the past and beyond trauma. Rebecca has been instrumental in taking the philosophy and concept of using total system support. Creating and operationalizing actions that allow the body to gently remember and then heal from the effects of a civilization out of phase with our Paleolithic brain.  Her ability to bring the healing into the present will only grow with her continued hands on experience and collaboration with others striving in these same areas of endeavor.

I’m very sensitive to energy and bodywork. When I’m with a healer, I see colors in my minds eye, with my eyes closed. When Rebecca started the session, at first, I did not see any color and then I started seeing a faint lavender that went into a vibrant, purple, then turquoise, mixed with the purple. It’s one of the most vibrant colors I’ve ever seen while being worked on. I don’t see color every time I get bodywork done. It’s typically only when I have been with a true healer. When Rebecca was finishing up the purple went into a bright white light.

Rebecca was able to follow my bodywork session with energetic awareness that was able to amplify the journey and breakthroughs I was having on the table.  She held space while also tapping into my field, all without pushing past my own boundaries or moving my system past threshold.  It was a wonderful combination of supportive space holding and intuitively accurate non-leading questions that allowed me to access information deep within myself that had, before that, remained buried and only known subconsciously to me. She kept a written map, like body record, of this session that has been valuable and interesting to continue to unfold during my own inner work since the session with her. Speaking as a PT and bodyworker myself, she was able to hold her knowledge and practice within her scope of practice appropriately.  I believe Rebecca will be able to help those, open to her work, immensely in the future.

I was initially looking for help with my horrible insomnia. I was in my mid 40’s, premenopausal and, at times, only sleeping every other night. I had tried just about everything, including hypnotherapy, neurofeedback, all kinds of therapies, etc. Nothing worked! I was introduced to Somatic Supportive Touch/Body Coaching and after my first appointment, I knew that this was a key to finding sleep again! I couldn’t explain how it worked, but I knew it did. Since then, I sleep much, much better! AND found that it is helping in other areas of my life as well!

The atmosphere was very comfortable. After a wonderful greeting and thorough check-in, the session started. Within just a few minutes I noticed a calmness physically and my nervous system seemed to be settling. As the tension in me was released it felt like I was melting into the massage table yet, my body felt very light. I could feel a very uplifting sense of connection. As we wrapped up, I was given plenty of time to gather myself and slowly sit up.

It was a wonderful experience and I’m eager to return.

My time with Rebecca was impactful on many levels. Although she employed a few specific modalities in working with me, we went on the healing journey together. I was unable to articulate this difference in energy healing work from other experiences until recently.  As a therapist who works with trauma, I realized that this allowed me a feeling of empowerment, with the act of “doing this together” rather than “being done to” of utmost importance in my experience. I have, consequently, been able to continue the healing process on my own with this feeling of safety.
